SHIKRA route will be the "MSC MARA" ship's maiden voyage, is expected in May 23 arrived in Qingdao port.
Today (May 5), Mediterranean Shipping Lines (MSC) announced that it will launch China and India's major ports between the new Asia regional routes, designed to meet growing transport demand, while enhancing Asian port connectivity.
According to reports, this new route SHIKRA line is independently operated by MSC. The first ship is "MSC MARA" (voyage QS321A), which is expected to arrive at Qingdao Port on May 23.
The new route's port of call is: Qingdao-Shanghai-Ningbo-Kaohsiung-Shekou-Singapore-Colombo-Navasheva-Mundra-Colombo-Port Klang-Singapore-Tanjung Parapas-Touton-Qingdao.
MSC also said that it will be in the right time to update its SENTOSA routes, the cancellation of Mondra, Navasheva and Colombo call, because the ports will be covered by SHIKRA routes.
