The departure port is not in China, the destination port is not in China, and it does not stop at any Chinese port. This is a very rare route!

On May 19, COSCO Shipping's first regional branch ANE route covering Australia's largest island Tasmania, as well as Australia's major ports and New Zealand's Oakland Port left Australia's last port.

This is following 45 years ago COSCO Shipping "Pingxiang City" ship opened China's container shipping maiden voyage, COSCO Shipping continued to plough the third country market and regional market in Australia and New Zealand region of another new milestone.

ANE route is currently linked to Tasmania BELL BAY, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland. Initially, it provides bi-weekly service with bi-weekly service of 700TEU.

The ANE route successfully opened, not only for the first time to achieve the company's dual-brand fleet in Australia and New Zealand between the direct services, but also relying on the global coverage of the trunk and feeder network, for the goods in and out of Tasmania to provide more convenient and efficient shipping and extension services.

Vehicle full chain transportation project goes deep into Australian market

On April 27, COSCO's dual-brand "OOCL BEIJING" wheel loaded with 110 new energy vehicles arrived at the Sydney wharf in Australia. The company's supply chain team in Australia through the development of a sound delivery plan in advance, to achieve Australia's three major ports (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane) unified scheduling, rapid delivery.

With the increasing global attention to environmental protection and sustainable development, the demand for new energy vehicles in the Australian market is also gradually increasing. In the context of the explosive growth of the market share of Chinese-made brands, the original ro-ro shipping model has been far from meeting the shipping needs of customers. At this time, COSCO's container full-chain transportation model has become the customer's preferred supplier.

COSCO Ocean Control is committed to providing customers with end-to-end full-chain logistics solutions, covering the whole process of end-to-end services from customs clearance, weight lifting, unpacking, warehousing, emptying and automobile storage. It took less than 3 weeks to complete the logistics delivery of the three major ports of new energy vehicles in Australia. On May 14, the last new energy slowly drove out of the container and arrived at the customer warehouse in Brisbane, marking the successful completion of the first batch of full-chain delivery of the company's new energy vehicle transportation project in Australia.

COSCO Ocean Control stated that it will use this Australian new energy vehicle transportation project as a model to continue to explore third country markets, regional markets and emerging markets, strengthen cooperation with local warehousing and logistics service providers, and expand routes and other channel products. Customers provide more abundant and diversified logistics services.
